for the Red Dawn
Clean, clear, fast. Extended highs and articulate lows with a neutral middle. Any additions are largely from your components. This interconnect is especially effective connecting my EAR 834P phono stage via a passive volume control to my Michaelson & Austin TVA-1 tube power amp. What you hear is what you get (so to speak). What more could you want?
My previous interconnect was Audio Research Litz Link which was also a 1st class cable, but the transients seemed neither as fast, nor were the frequency extremes as extended as with the Red Dawns. The Red Dawns are also flexible, a BIG plus.
In my system, they work really well with Nordost Blue Heaven speaker cable.
You can often get good deals on ebay like I did.
Product Weakness: none Product Strengths: Fast, neutral & extended. Flexible.
