I did a direct comparison between the my main Aidio-Magic:Sorcerer speaker cables, my Goertz:AG-1 rear speaker cables & these 8ft cables. These were much more revealing. Theier clarity were the only ones which exposed the problems with my Sorcerer's sand microdynamic supression. I always knew sand ought not to be placed near conductors as well as XO components since silcate has sonicly incumbering semi-conductor grunge character. But, until these cables were tried, I never heard it through the Sorcerer's very distinct aspects. However, I will stipulate that my Maggies seemed to mercilessly expose flaws in a XO. My MG2.7s sounded a tad lean in the midbass region during the lower XO region & my MGLR1s sounded a tad phasingly wierd in its one XO region.
