I've had this cable for more than 2 years and still am amazed and appreciative of the great value this cable offers. Granted $440/meter is not cheap but if it gives you about 90% of the performance that the $800 plus cables do, then I think it's a good value.

My first cable purchase was the $180 MIT Terminator 2 which was quite better than the now comical $60 Monster cable I bought at the Good Guys. Everything was better actually: from freq response to soundstage to imaging. Eventually I upgraded to the MIT 330 which is about $300 and that gave some improvement over the Terminator 2. I fooled around and upgraded other components in my system and again decided I needed to upgrade my ICs. This time I got the MIT 330 CVTerminator II which is about $550, it was impressively better than the regular 330. I was extremely sitting happy until this one asshole local dealer talked me into trying a pair of Kimber KCAG. He said if I don't fall in love with them, I can take them back and he will even buy me lunch.

Anyway, that asshole dealer got me good. I fell in love with silver the first minute the music played thru them. Talk about transparency and clarity, everything sounded squeaky clear as if the music have been thoroughly scrubbed with rubbing alcohol. Just to make a point about me not just coming off the banana boat, I did tried out several other nice cables before like the JPS Superconductor 1 and Nordost Blue Heaven. The Kimber KCAG was in a class by itself, I shit you not. I went back to the dealer and voiced my excitement and he told me to calm down so he can demo the Kimber Select silver ICs for me. Well, these Selects sounded noticeably nicer than the KCAG with a lot of air around instruments and vocals, the overall feel was almost seductive too because there was a natural sounding presentation to the music. Well, that was all wonderful but who the hell is stupid enough to pay almost $1000 for IC cables. Definitely not me so I said I'll take a half meter of the KCAG for $240. I was just too slick.

Folks, these KCAG are really nice.

BTW, that asshole dealer has since became a very good friend of mine.

Product Weakness: you better have a quality and balance system or else the details may turn into glare and sibilance
Product Strengths: a slice of the very best without being stupid with your wallet
