The JPS Labs Superconductor 2 interconnects have been around for about 7 years, but are so exceptional, I wanted to re-introduce them to perhaps newer audiophiles. I have about 100 hours break-in which seems long enough for them to reveal their superior quality. I use them between my CDP and Preamp, also between My Preamp and Amp. I used the superconductor Fx previously, which were excellent and tonally well balanced. Before that I used Cardas ICs. The Superconductor 2s have brought my already excellent system to another level. The improvement was easily equivelent to a major component change.
The sound is very naturally warm, smooth, transparent and totally nonfatiguing. These are very dynamic three dimensional with very focused life like imaging. The mids are liquid with rich harmonic texturing of the instruments. The highs are very extended, airy and smooth. The transients, decay, ambience and air space around instruments is very life like. There is an immediacy to the music which makes it more exciting. I love jazz and opera. I now feel I am at the performance.
I read 11 consumer reviews on audioreview.com All agreed these were 5/5 ICs. These ICs have been compared with others costing 2 or more times the price. I believe they can standup against the best. These are extremely quiet at -120DB which may be close to thr record!
