for the Twisted Pair Evolution

It has been said you can never go home again. Well, you can, sort of. Many years ago, in one of the earlier incarnations of my music system, the wires were all Elemant Cable: Risch design twisted interconnects and speaker cables, and the Element power cords. I was pleased with them, as I thought they performed well above their asking price. Eventually though, upgrade fever hit me, as I thought, "If my system sounds this good with these inexpensive interconnects, how would it sound with the super-magic ones I see advertised and reviewed?" So began a merry-go-round of (for me)expensive escalations, culminating in two pairs of $500 a pair Stereo Knight X-Bal interconnects. Yes, they do sound great. They are worth the price, no surprise. The surprise came when I recently came into posession of two pairs of the new Element Twisted Pair Evolution interconnects: they sound not only different than the X-Bals, but to my ear, in my demanding system, they actually sound better. The have more low end punch, better dynamics (both micro and macro), and are just as smooth an the X-Bals. I certainly would recommend that before you drop a bundle of dough on big buck cables, you check these out. I would rate them (don't laugh) reference level.
