Facts:

This is a do it yourself loudspeaker cable system. It is not as simple as going to the hardware and buying wire. A vast amount of research and thought went into this Cable arrangement. The terminations take patience and perseverance. When you finish these (4 hours to do it neat and correct)
you will have what I believe is as fine a loudspeaker cable as money can buy in the listening department. I want to personally thank Mr. Risch for providing his web site and valuable information to the forum , so we can experience the details of this project ourselves.

A brief discription :

System consist of 50 feet of Belden Coax cable # 85259. 50 feet of heat shrink tubing, Four banana "dual" males, and labor. They are used in pairs for each speaker. 2 12.5 foot runs each. Shield of one is connected to the center conductor of the other, and center conductor is connected to the shield of the remaining wire. This makes up one channel.

In Listening, the low level resolution improved dramatically, allowing a full 3 dB of negative masking. I am comparing these wire systems with a standard 14 gauge 2 conductor wire. Imaging tightened up big time. Definition improved, sound stage deepened, high frequency response more transparent, low end more controlled. The entire sound is more seemless.

I invite those who are handy, and want to improve your wire situation to build these. Not only was it a fun project, but I have no doubts that this is the best system I have ever used to connect Loudspeakers to an amplifier. The wire is stiff, and takes creativity to work with, but well worth the effort. A great discovery !!
