I made 2 pair of the IC's, cd to preamp to amp. I have worked around electronics all my life and thought they would be easy to make. They are were very difficult for me to assembly. The .005 teflon insulated wire was a real bear to strip, I scratched at it with a razorblade until it finally peeled off, suggestions of a better method? I used the nuetrik recommended rca plugs, the teflon tubing fits inside of the compression fitting very nicely, however I broke the return wire on the outside of the tubing several times trying to screw the cap on the rear of the plug. That means start over again after the use of profane language, (it always happens on the second end of the plug murphy's law). I purchased the polyester mesh sleeving to use as a cover. After I got the hang of things the completed cables are very sturdy and look as professional as any cables made. Sonically the cables are worth every bit of cussing and time it took to make them. I am simply amazed. In my opinion every aspect of sound is noticably and signifigantly improved. The cables I replaced were in the $100.00 range per pair made by audio majic. I thank you for sharing the plans. All in all I enjoyed the challenge of making them, am very pleased with the sound and quite proud of knowing I made something that most people are missing out on. Thanks again

Product Weakness: tricky to assembly to high physical quality standards
Product Strengths: incredible improvement over $100.00 range IC's I replaced
