for the TwinLink A

Well many of you who have been reading my posts know that I have discovered the magic of Cardas cables. I recently been on a cable upgrade and I have "upgraded" everything. I started out with a Cardas PC and Cardas IC. I instantly fell in love with the smooth rich detailed sound of Cardas. Seemed to be a perfect match with my equipment (Jolida Inter. Hybrid. Sony ES CDP, B&W 602s3).

I found a 11' pair of Cardas Twinlink for sale at Audioadvisor. The salesperson told me it was a special order that was never completed. I got the cables for a reduced cost.

When they arrived the next day (I am 60 minutes from Grand Rapids, MI), I couldnt wait to see how they sounded. And if they could beat my beloved DH-Labs T-14 double run bi-wire. So I hooked them up and immedaitly I noticed a smoother more natural sound. I played a few CD's and listened and I was amazed. The DH-Labs went on sale on audiogon.

In my system the Cardas single wire beat the DH-Labs double run bi-wire. The Cardas had a euphonic midrange and detailed and airy top end with strong bass. Where the DH-labs seemed to be bright after listening to the Cardas. The DH-Labs didnt seem as detialed and as synergstic as did the Cardas in my system. I still think DH-Labs is the cable of choice if you dont have a lot to spend. However, I think I made a right choice in cables and I will stay with the Cardas for a while.

Product Weakness: Not bi-wireable, but I cant have everything
Product Strengths: Smooth midrange and strong bass. Detialed highs.
