for the Moon Nova

Had this player for over a year. This is a good machine. But it was a bit too analytical for my taste. I did change for a Gamut CD-1R who a bit more warmer in the midrange. Don't get me wrong here, the Nova is a great machine. It is maybe a matter of taste. With a good componants matching, this machine would be excellent. For one thing, you might try to keep away from interconnect who are made of silver, it is a bit to revealing. Go for a copper base interconnect. Cardas Golden Reference or Golden Cross were great cables for this machine. I was using a Sim Audio I-5 and Totem Hawks during the period I had the Nova.

Product Weakness: need good matching with other componant
Product Strengths: detail, good rythme, if bought in Canada, the price
