I home auditioned the Genki alongside the Densen B 400.
I did not use the variable outputs and so did not have the problems of other reviewers. Through an Audiolab LX amp this gave a relaxed and very musical presentation with no warm up time. Transients were not strong, nor were razor sharp details, but for pleasurable music it won my heart. 2D Soundstage was better than many contemporary players. Reminded me very much of vinyl
