I started many, many years ago with a Cal Icon cd player which served me well until I moved on to a Musical Fidelity 308 player. It wasnt an advance. After more years, I bought a Lavry Engineering DA!) dac which helped. Then got a chance to get an Ayon 07s at a good price. Now this is what I was looking for!! I had no idea that cds could sound this good.The sound is full bodied, crisp and extended as far as I could wish on both ends. Those tiniest sounds which create reality in a recording are given full measure. It sits next to a Nottingham 294 with a Dynavector 17D3 cartridge and isnt embarrassed. Terrific bargain!

Product Weakness:	It's a top loader so must sit on top of the stand.
Product Strengths:	The sound it reproduces - it's real.
