I have to be honest. A while back I assembled 5 CD players including some of the ones that are considered highly recommend bargains. The problem was that every single player has a little pre-amp in it so that each one gives a slightly different presentation. By the way Yamahas natural sound player is a cheaply made piece of crap that startled me with its swinging good sound, the stereophile recommended player left me cold and with no bass at all.

Knowing that CD players do make a difference, after my divorce, I was so anxious to get a new system that I purchase new amp (Jolida integrated mix tube), and new CD player at the same time. Basically I am saying that the new amp and new CD player together have been an improvement over my Adcom and Sony top line, but I did not do the AB test just on the CD player that everyone around here at the asylum demands.

Product Weakness: None that I know of but no AB test performed however,
Product Strengths: Fair price, great attention to detail by the cottage industry manufacturer and reliability provided by the original manufacturer which is Philips.
