Rambling,rambunctious,over-dynamic,unsubtle,too much of a good thing(?)but definitely the only amp that (my budget allowing)has been able to do my CLS IIAs justice!!!In fact, when atmospheric conditions are favorable for the electrostats-the result, notwithstanding the abovementioned adjectives is nothing short of jaw-dropping.This amp has a personality!Take it or leave it,but if you take it,you are in for a major musical experience-and it works equally well on any kind of music, which is something you can't say about many amps.Tube regulated power supply,4 6FQ7s and 1 6922 with 6 MOSFETS per channel enabling 300WPC @ 8 ohms and 500 WPC @ 4 ohms.I am no historian, and have read different accounts attributing design of this amp to 1:George Kaye 2: Harvey Rosenberg If there is anyone in the know out there who can set this record straight-please!I read somewhere that this amp is one of 2 non-tube amps, that maintains its resale value, and I can understand why.My gratitude to the people who gave us this amp.Raanan
