I have been in High End Audio for over 30 years. Over the years I changed/upgraded many components in my everlasting quest for the "Audio Nirvana". I was using Art Audio Jota BX Amp with KR 300B-XLS Tubes powering my Avantgarde Duo Speakers. A great combination . The Jota is a great sounding Amp and I enjoyed it very much. I recently heard a Mactone MA-300B Amp purchased by a Toronto Audiophile and I was so impressed that I purchased a Mactone immediately. It is still in the "burning-in" stage but has already elevated my system to a new level, a totally new level. I had similar experiences when I hooked my Burmester CD-01 CD Player for the first time, or when my new Duos arrived, or when I upgraded all my cables to Nordost Valhallas, but this is the most shocking and drastic improvement I have ever experienced.
Thanks to Steve Klein of Sounds of Silence for discovering this wonderful, little known, Japanese Amp and bringing it here for us to love it.
