This is too update my experience with my McShane Citation II. It just keeps getting better! I have upgraded my source material to a Marantz Reference SACD combined with DHLabs T-10 speaker wire with the Air Matrix interconnects. Also added a passive preamp,a McShane creation he wished me to help prototype for him. I felt I was part of the development, I got to choose the color of the knobs, etc. Thank goodness Jim took on the electric bits inside. I could not be more pleased with the outcome, it has not left my system since I got it. It helped tame the JBL4333b horns to a more mellow and life like sound, and tightened up the bass without giving up musicality. Jim is a great guy and knows his audio. Since the amp was mine, I have bought two more Citations and waiting for the bench to clear. Seems pretty popular these days, deservedly so.

Product Weakness: None, unless you dislike the Chocolate Thunder brown!
Product Strengths: true reproduction of source, dynamic response is wonderfull, no flaws, dead quiet and goes about it's business with no fuss.
