Awesome amplifier. Will make you think twice about push-pull. The sonic
signature is big, bold, and beautiful. Imaging is panoramic with great
width and tremendous front to back depth. This amp is VERY fast - faster
than many solid-state amps.

Bass is solid and tight, with just the right amount of body. Midrange
is impeccable, with wonderful transparency and detail. The treble range
of this amp is the best I've ever heard. There is absolutely zero harsh-
ness, hardness, glare, sibilance, etc. The sound is infinitely detailed
and infinitely smooth. Each note emanates from a pitch-black background.

This amp flat-out annihilates just about any solid-state amp, except for
some of the very expensive Pass designs.

The AE-25 is slightly on the warm side of neutral, but still very accurate
sounding. Substituting the Sovtek drivers with Tesla E88CCs takes the amp
to a whole new level of performance. Bandwidth is increased, while the
mids and treble take on more air and bloom.

I am giving the AE-25 my highest recommendation.
