for the Ultra Clarifier
Bought the dual-beam Ultra Clarifier on a whim. It's rather a pain to use because it takes 30 seconds to treat each C.D. For very little $ though, it does have positive sonic benefits, and NO negative effects (which is rare). Overall, I would say it offers about the same magnitude of improvement as the Audioprism stoplight (green pen).Bedini makes the intruments and voices sound a bit bigger in volume, with more "airified" images. Female vocals tend to show the biggest improvement, sounding more breathy and alive with overall smoother upper mid/low treble without reducing detail.
These are small differences and hardly noticeable on some CD's. I tend to use the Bedini mostly when I want to evaluate a gear, cable critically, but the improvement is not big enough for me to wait 30 seconds each time I want to listen to a CD! Worth checking out...
