Following the rave reviews on AA, I bought 2 sets of Auric illuminator.

Last night, when I tried the Auric illuminator on 5 of my CDs by following the instructions step by step, all of CD tried sounded different after the treatment, it is not like the green pen treatment which only 20% of my disc sounded different.

However, ¡§different¡¨ may not always mean improvement!

I got the similar results as others on AA, the sound is quite a bit smoother then before.

But the downside is my system now sounds like a light veil has been put over it, the output has been reduced, the highs has been supressed, clarity and separation have been reduced also. The attack and bite have been taken out of the music. The vocal is slightly muddy up with the rest of the music, no longer stand out in the middle.

When I wash off the Auric illuminator, all the clarity, life, bite and attack come back. I have repeated the test at least 3 times for each disc, and always come to the same conclusion.

Therefore I will most likely return my 2 sets of Auric illuminator unless something dramatic happens in the coming couple of days.

I am so disappointed with Auric illuminator, this is a tweak which does not work in my system, not only it does not work, it actually make my system sounds worst then before.
