I have now had CBFs in my system for over three months. Today I've experienced a satisfaction not felt before with my previous systems, and I felt compelled to finally write this review.

I first purchased three CBFs (one of which was a 'signature'). Attached one to the 'hot' on the incoming bundle into my apartment AC panel, another over the breaker into the bedroom where my system is placed, and the 'sig' unit tied over teh IEC of the power cord of my integrated amp.

After an a few hours of installing, everything sounded out-of-phase... my system was un-listen-to-able. Confusing was the only word I could use to describe what I heard.

After 24 hours, I was still bemused - the sound was still quite mushy, but I perceived improved decay of notes.

Things slowly started to gel, and by three weeks there was a reduction of the grainy haze, all instruments had better pitch, attacks were improved (especially snare drums), and decays lingered.

I added six more CBFs after a month - one each onto the 'neutral' and 'ground' in the panel, one over the open outlets on a power strip that feeds the cd player, and the remaining four over the transformer and power supply of the integrated. From this point, there has only been an improvement in 1. overall ATTACK - everything 'flies' out of my speakers and into the room... 2. apparent noise floor being reduced, I can hear more subtleties... 3. ever-lasting DECAYS... 4. low end articulation... 5. overall placing of instruments on the sound stage... 6. better 'body' of instruments and DEPTH of sound stage.

I have opened up the Marinco terminals of my two power cords and filled them with the signature beads. I have pulled better punch from the low end with this tweak.

Thanks for reading.
