An ad for Bogan products in the Dec, 1955 issue of Holiday magazine recommends the book "Understanding High Fidelity" - "for the audiophile seeking his way." It surprised me because hi-fi was still the purview of hobbyists, though not exclusively. The ad is typical for the time as it shows a family reclined on the floor, listening in dreamy bliss to the music played through Bogan amp and tuner.
