I'm finally narrowing down ideas for a p-p EL34 and need to choose trannies.Both of these brands seem like solid choices.It comes down to the Plitron 4070-CFB or the Lundahl 1663.I like the idea of being able to use the cathode winding in the Plitron.Although the Lundahl doesn't have this feature,it's supposed to be some great iron.I'm probably going to make do with a pair of Dyna 470's,which I already have,until this choice is made.I'd appreciate any input in regard to matching up EL34'S with either of these.Particularly interested in their sonic characteristics.Thanks.
