But the first order xover will only provide its benefits if the total response (w/ xover) is 1st order. This is really hard to do with horn drivers which typically have narrow bandwidths and steep acoustic rolloffs at the edges of their bandwidth. Of course you can still use a 1st order xover, but the actual response probably won't be 1st order.John
