Hey Teresa--Do you have the Reference Recordings Stravinsky Soldier's Tale played by the Chicago Pro Musica? I've never heard the LP version of this, but the RBCD is staggeringly good (near-SACD quality), and it makes an interesting comparison with the excellent Jarvi on Pentatone. Pentatone's image puts you a little farther back in the hall, but both recordings are extremely realistic. If you've heard the Reference, I'd be curious to know what you think.

BTW, thanks to your earlier post, I revisited the Jarvi Sibelius 2nd on Telarc (hadn't listened to it in a long time). The recording is all you claim it to be--Telarc DSD mastering at its finest (and that's saying something!). Thanks for sharing your enthusiams with your fellow inmates.
