Hey Teresa--Do you have the Reference Recordings Stravinsky Soldier's Tale played by the Chicago Pro Musica? I've never heard the LP version of this, but the RBCD is staggeringly good (near-SACD quality), and it makes an interesting comparison with the excellent Jarvi on Pentatone. Pentatone's image puts you a little farther back in the hall, but both recordings are extremely realistic. If you've heard the Reference, I'd be curious to know what you think.BTW, thanks to your earlier post, I revisited the Jarvi Sibelius 2nd on Telarc (hadn't listened to it in a long time). The recording is all you claim it to be--Telarc DSD mastering at its finest (and that's saying something!). Thanks for sharing your enthusiams with your fellow inmates.
Happy Listening!
