I have a RA-1 battery ver. that will now be seeing almost daily use. According to others/Grado it can be converted to psu use with (2) 9 volt converters.
Having done this I get a loud buzz/hum as soon as I connect both units, volume at zero. Connections are okay.
I am using seemingly identical converters having attached two 9 volt battery connectors. What am I missing? It seemed simple enough.
