I am using a Hitachi V-1065 (100 mhz dual trace, analog)

Although my Japanese isn't good enough for me to read much of the MJ article, I think I get the gist of it: They seem to be showing how the speakers can be fine-tuned for best frequency response. That isn't new, but what's different is that they've made it very easy to change from one configuration to another without modifying the speaker cabinet.
