Elekit TU-8200- won't play music




I just built the kit and everything seemed to go smoothly. When I turned it on, the LED lights blue and all the tubes glow. I let it stay on for a 1/2 hour and all was well. But when I play a source there is no sound from either of the inputs or the headphone jack. I can hear a little tube noise on startup and a bit of hum when the volume is turned all the way up. But that's it.

Can anybody suggest a likely cause or troubleshooting steps to diagnose the problem?
