With the direct-coupled Cathode Follower design, the output impedance of the Foreplay should be extremely low. Doc designed this thing to be able to drive long cables for remote monoblock amps, so a little cable capacitance such as in the Goertz design is no big 'Thang'.I've used the Sapphire (silver) and Tourmaline (copper) standard Goertz interconnects, and they both sound wonderful between the Foreplay and my Monarchy SM-70 (single-ended MOSFET amps), and though they have a higher input impedance at 117k Ohms than your setup I think you'll be fine.
'Gizmo' Rosenberg, over at the Triode Guild, is very enthusiastic about these cables, and insists that the thinner 'Triode Quartz' and 'Micro PURL' versions are even better, while also being less $$$ than the Sapphire...
Good luck, pRC
