I had been on the fence for a while about getting the Ack; I had tweaked my digital front end quite a bit (self-modded DI/O etc) and wondered whether the difference would really be worth the money. So far I am... blown away. That term is over-used, but it fits here. The bass is better (tighter, better extension, better pacing), the mid-range is better (more natural, more detailed), the highs are better (more detailed, smoother) and there's more air & separation, the soundstage is wider, deeper.... And it is sooo quiet. In every area "better" is an understatement. I could go on but I'm blathering. Like you, on every cd I am amazed at the improvement. A keeper. My only complaint is that I waited so long.
