Nothing like a good tube amp on fire

I did have a tube amp actually go up in flames. A filter cap leaked and burned. It eventually blew the fuse and the flames died out a few minutes later. Tube gear has high voltage, like 500+ volts or so coming off the tranny. While most solid state stuff comes up around 50ish volts off the tranny.

That is why I NEVER recommend leaving electronic gear turned on 24/7 unattended.
