Hello, in my b&K manual is the sensitivity 35 for the 6080 and 45 for 6AS7
Follow Ups:
The chart for my B&K 707 lists sensitivity at 35 for both tubes.

My settings are also identical on a B&K 700.
But the B&K 747 manual I looked up online shows different.
Note the B&K is solid state. Therein may lay the difference.
Cheers!

is a tubed unit. But I don't know enough about electronics to understand why the circuit basics in the testing device would require different sensitivity settings?

My B&K 700 is tubed as well. The B&K 747 being solid state was a guess at best.
Would be great if someone who knew more about this could chime in.
I would only know enough to compare the manuals and see if there are other tubes that also have different settings, or if this is an isolated incident. I suppose a Google search might turn up something on this topic. Time for a new topic perhaps?
Also wonder how the OP's situation turned out with the alternate settings?
Cheers!
