Critic's Corner: "To proivde constructive feedback/talk to the industry"
I just posted some details over at General Asylum about Richard Smith's death (and earlier on John Dunlavy.)Not to dwell on the past, but the many smaller contributions of those lesser knowns have a bearing on many of today's products. Richard Smith definitely pioneered the boutique film cap with the SiderealKap and more recently with his "Auricap" product.
They may not have been as influential as Klipsch, Kloss, Hafler, Michell, Bloom, Robertson-Aikman or Walker but they do merit space somewhere within the pages of your respective magazines...whether they be in print or electronic format...the "Audiophile Club of Athens" has such a page for noting these in a timely matter.
What do you say TAS, Stereophile, Soundstage, 6 Moons, TNT, Audiophilia, etc ?

Follow Ups:
I was just told about a page that Jennifer Crock made after hearing the news about her rememberances of Richard.

...conducted by Jim Merod with Richard Smith and John McDonald of Audience, done not too long before Richard's death. We published it in memory of his contributions to fine audio. You'll find it at the link below.
All the best,

Why must people persist in using this ridiculous euphemism?
Is the person any less DEAD?
