Happy holidays and merry Christmas all.

I've come across a 6087 / 5Y3WGTB rectifier and have a question. Is the 6087 a direct sub for a 5Y3GT?

I'm finding some vague information and some of it is conflicting. I've read something hinting that the 6087 is equivalent to a Bendix 6106 which I don't think is a direct sub in all cases.

Please shed some light. Thanks.
