FRIED "IMF's ": Know anything?

A freind of will be getting a pair of the IMF (Irving M. Fired) loudspeakers, and I am trying to get some info and a search of the net and the Asylum revealed zippo. He is actually the original owner but a family member has been using them since at least the early 80's.
If anybody can tell me, for example, their impendance, # of drivers, type of design, sonic signature, etc., I would really appreciate it. I have a pair of A/4 Signatures myself, so I am familiar with "Bud" and his transmission design philosphy, but need help with this particlular model. Again, much thanks...
