I agree- if you're a beginning solder slinger, the Kester 63/37 is great stuff. You may later want to branch out, but this is hard to get a bad joint with and will sound great. The .31 would be easier for point-to-point, and has to be available somewhere for a good price. The narrower is better for printed circuit boards, but either will do ok for these kits.
