I have an Anthem preamp with adjustable gain . Today I noticed the right channel was quite weaker. Changing tubes did help. I fixed the problem by setting the gain at 8 on the right channel , they sound equal now. The left remains set at 24 , previously they were both set at 24. My question is...is something inherently wrong to have to adjust them at different settings ?
