I've been planning on buying a passive preamp, a Goldpoint SA-3 using a 10 Kohm ladder style stepped attenuator, to put between a Jolida JD100 Tube CD player and an Acurus A200 SS amplifier. The Jolida manual says the output voltage is >= 2 volts / 47 Kohm impedance and the Acurus input sensitivity is 1.1 volts / 20 Kohm impedance. My question is, will the high output impedance rating of the JoLida cause it to have a problem driving the load presented by the Acurus directly? Has anyone used a passive pre with a JoLida JD100?
