ALPS Balanced Pot. Can I Use this As Unbalanced?

I found a Black 10K ALPS pot that was originally used for a balanced line volume control. 3 pins X 4 for two channels in and out protrude from the body. Can this be used as a volume attenuator for unbalanced line?
Tips and details greatly appreciated, as I have a use for it.
