Help with Surround proc/power amp

I am considering upgrading my Krell KAV-300i amp with a surround processor and multi-channel power amp. Currently I have a NAD T760 receiver. I listen mainly to classical and jazz music, and the occassional DVD, so I am not a big home theater fan. But I like the idea of having one system to do both CD and DVDs. My other components are the Krell 280CD player, Joseph Audio RM 25si and my home theater speakers are all KEFs.
Are there any 'musical' surround processors/multi-channel amps for about US$5000 maximum?
