Need help, suggestions, sympathy; woofer woes!

General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

One of the woofers in one of my prized KEF 104/2's is buzzing, making a rattle on the deepest bass moments.
If I apply gentle pressure to the membrane with my fingers during these low passages, it stops (or at least does it much less).
There is no visable damage to the membrane or surround. How screwed am I here?
