I took a chance and ordered one of the Altmann JISCO devices (see link below). Charles Altmann was very easy to deal with and quickly corrected a problem caused by shipping (from Germany). Straight out of the box it seemed to lend an ease and clarity to the music, but I'll post a more thorough review in a few days after it's broken in for a while.
