This use of teflon thin wall tubing to help space the shield away from the twisted pair, is not for an overall slip over, but to lay into the creases of the twisted pairs.

I do not recommend the use of an overall teflon tube to cover both twisted pairs, this would allow too much motion of the twisted pair relative to the shield, and possibly with respect to each other.

I suggest re-reading my DIY note carefully.
